Crossover Subs & Drill Rod

Bruce Tool Company can provide a variety of drill string components in all of the thread configurations. We can supply drill rod or subs for any situation. Our tools are made from the finest quality steel to assure proper performance and longivity.

Drill rod and crossover subs may be built to any length, outside diameter, inside diameter, or thread connection. Crossover subs may also be bored out to accept the use of a float (check) valve upon request.

Shock Subs

A shock sub can be manufactured to absorb the shock vibrations created by a down-hole hammer. This, in turn, helps to prevent damage to the drill string and top head drive.

Floating Subs

A floating sub can be manufactured to absorb shock vibrations which are transmitted up through the drill string.
